Gold Plated

The six syllables, "om mani padme hum", mean that in devotion to a path which is an indivisible union of method and wisdom, you can transform your impure body, speech, and mind into the pure exalted body, speech, and mind of a Buddha.

Om is a sacred syllable found in Indian religions.  The word Mani means "jewel" or "bead." Padme is the "lotus flower" and Hum represents the spirit of enlightenment.
