Moonstone, Amethyst or Garnet

In Neolithic times, passing a spiral barrier, such as the entrance stone blocking the entrance to the tomb at Newgrange, seems to have been necessary to step within the inner sanctuary of a stone burial chamber. The passage beyond the barrier symbolized the soul moving from death to find rebirth at the still center.
